First of all, an informative e-mail about CCH Tagetik was sent to many decision makers tailor-made to their current ERP solution. Hereby the entire target group was divided into 2 groups based on the current ERP system being used.
After 1 to 2 weeks a second e-mail with information about what CCH Tagetik can deliver in CPM products and services was sent, followed by a third and final e-mail with the specific solution for the current situation of the recipient. A few days after the first mailing, telephonic contact was made with the target group in order to retain the momentum and provide follow-up. The goal was to improve the overall conversion by focusing efforts on the most interesting prospects.
Flexibility and multi tactic
“In the very pleasant contact with Smart Profile, some good tips were given based on their knowledge and experience. Given the long sales cycles, it is not immediately possible to say whether it has already become a success from a sales perspective, but if we look at the reach of the campaign and the processes that are already in progress, it can certainly be called successful”, Mr. van Wissen. “From a marketing point of view, people are very satisfied with the mostly new decision makers who have come into contact with us, which is reflected in a high open ratio.”
“I also experienced the flexibility during the campaign as very positive,” adds Hugo. “After the first two emails, we saw that some larger companies showed little interaction on the mail, and so in the tele campaign it was decided to focus more on those companies and successfully. Based on this campaign, similar campaigns in other European countries are being looked into in collaboration with Smart Profile, “concludes Hugo van Wissen.
